I enjoyed so very much having the opportunity to keynote at last week's REBarcamp Houston. I want to pass along my thanks to Michael Price, President of ML Broadcast, for putting it together. (Oh, and Mike, the receipts are coming!)
Here are the slides from the keynote I posted to Slideshare...
Here are some photos and video of the event for your enjoyment:
That's me during the keynote
I also got to facilitate a session the goal of which was to craft a social media marketing game plan for Realtors. However, I didn't realize that almost everyone in attendance would show up. They were extremely interested in learning how to use Facebook, Twitter and the tools of social media to generate leads, get listings, and increase revenue.
Another view of the session.
The guy in the slide is trying to grab my head, so says my buddy Jeff Turner, President of Real Estate Shows, who live streamed the keynote via his jail broken iPhone using Qik.
That's Jeff on the right, the "other" bald guy.
A little analog social networking the night before.

Paul,
It was a very good day and you added to it greatly.
It was nice to meet you, like many of the others we'll stay in touch.
Bill
Hi Paul . . . that looked like a great function.
Aloha
Jim
I wish I could have been there!
@William - It was nice to meet you as well. I enjoyed hearing your insights into real estate and learned a great deal in the process.
@James - It was indeed.
@Monika - I wish you could have been there too! So, let's do one in New Hampshire. :-) Maybe the NAR social media manager will take the lead in putting these things together, or sponsor them at least.
Paul - very cool ! Thanks for sharing some of the info. I am going to come back to listen to more of the video ! Sounds like it was a great time.
Paul - your presentation was terrific (we were able to hear most of it on QIK until audi was lost). Sounds like REBCH was an outstanding success. Gonna head off and take a look at the slides. Thanks for sharing your wisdom.
Jeff
I didn't realize that the audio pooped out until after posting it, so sorry about that. Blame Jeff Turner. :-) It was his jailbroken iphone on which the video was recorded.
